Gov’t urges universities to guide research for emerging industries
The government has tasked institutions of higher learning to help guide research and innovations toward specific industries that are ready to take off. Speaking during Makerere University’s Innovation Week, the Minister of Science, Technology, and Innovation, Monica Musenero, cited the electric car industry, which she says is ready to go into production.
