Government tasked to find more sources of money to fight HIV
The government is being urged to find more sources of funds - locally - to complement the current HIV elimination budget, which is largely supported by donors. Delegates meeting at the annual HIV Financing symposium at the Quality Chemical Industries Limited in Luzira, cited a lack of support for the local manufacturers of drugs like anti-retroviral drugs to have a breakthrough in the market.
