Kakande calls for budget Alignment in development plans
The Permanent Secretary in the Office of the President, Hajj Yunus Kakande, has called on government officials responsible for planning and policy-making intended to drive development in the country to align their efforts with the budget allocations of their entities in order to achieve the country's desired goals. This statement was made during a retreat of the Public Policy Executive Oversight Forum, which is mandated to highlight achievements and challenges in several government projects under the National Development Plan III.
