KCCA directors granted non-cash bail in manslaughter case
The Kasangati Chief Magistrates' Court has granted former KCCA directors Dorothy Kisaka, David Luyimbazi, and Dr. Daniel Okello a non-cash bail of 5 million shillings each. They face 57 charges of manslaughter and negligent acts. Chief Magistrate Beatrice Khainza approved the bail terms, citing the trio's substantial sureties, each of whom is required to guarantee 100 million shillings. As David Ijjo reports, the former executives are set to return to court on November 26 for the next mention of their case.
