KCCA halts rubbish disposal at Kiteezi after landfill collapse
Kampala's garbage collection situation is expected to worsen after the Kampala Capital City Authority ordered a stop to deposit rubbish at Kiteezi. This follows the collapse of the Kiteezi garbage landfill, which had been receiving up to 2,500 tonnes of rubbish daily.
