Kivumbi assures strong ties with Buganda ahead of 2026 elections
Last week, the National Unity Platform appointed Muhammad Muwanga Kivumbi as the party's Deputy President for Buganda. Since his appointment, Kivumbi has sought to assure the public that his party's relationship with the Buganda Kingdom remains strong, despite detractors' views on the matter. NTV had a one-on-one interview with Kivumbi to discuss the task ahead as the party prepares for the 2026 general elections.
