Landslide survivors in Bulambuli urge government to fulfill promises
Landslide survivors resettled at the Bunambutye Camp in Bulambuli District are urgently calling on the government to fulfill promises made after last year’s disaster on November 27th, which destroyed their homes in Buluganya Sub-county. With schools reopening for the first term, many survivors are worried that their children, particularly those in secondary and higher education, will miss out on their education. There is no secondary school in the entire sub-county, and without alternative arrangements, they fear their children will be turned away when schools begin.
