Staying with election news, we turn to Mbale City, where the race for City Woman MP is shaping up to be far more competitive than in previous cycles.
While past elections featured just two main contenders, this time the field has widened significantly, with seven candidates now vying for the seat.
Among those seeking to unseat the incumbent, Connie Galiwango Nakayenze, are Lydia Wanyoto Mutende, Dr. Sarah Wasagali Kanaabi, Rita Namuwenge, Zanubia Namutumba, and Harriet Kakai.
