Uganda printing and publishing held to draw, premier league hopes dimmed
In local soccer, Uganda Printing and Publishing Corporation (UPPC) — formerly known as Gadafi FC — played out a goalless draw with Black Power, dealing a blow to their hopes of qualifying for the Premier League next season.
The Entebbe-based UPPC, currently competing in the Big League, must now look ahead to a decisive match against Mbale-based Kataka FC, which will determine who advances.
Meanwhile, Black Power faced a setback after their defender, Paul Oonyu, received a red card in the first half, cutting short their momentum. Despite the draw, Black Power remains in third place in the Big League standings.
