Ministry of Health hands over X-ray equipment to Rubaya Health Center Iv
The Ministry of Health has handed over a state-of-the-art Digital Mobile X-Ray machine, which will relieve health workers who have been using microscopes to screen patients.
The equipment was deployed at Rubaya Health Center IV in Ryakarimira Town Council, Ndorwa West of Kabale District.
The machine is equipped with cutting-edge artificial intelligence technology, which allows for rapid and accurate detection of TB, even during the disease’s incubation period, proving to be a crucial tool for early diagnosis and intervention.
Kabale district loses approximately 6% of hospitalized TB patients each year.
