MPs task govt to explain slow disaster response response
Parliament has tasked the government to explain what it called a slow response to various disasters across the country. This comes as many parts of the country are experiencing flooding and landslides due to heavy rains that have claimed lives and destroyed property. Legislators have also criticized the government for not having a comprehensive plan for disaster management.
