Negotiations to resolve Luzira prisons’ water arrears
Multiple government entities have begun negotiations to address the National Water and Sewerage Corporation's decision to disconnect the water supply to the Luzira Prisons Complex. Our reporter, Daniel Kibet, reports that the Luzira Prisons Complex is facing an outstanding water bill with arrears exceeding 18 billion shillings, which led to the water supply being cut.
