NRM MPs respond to bribery allegations over coffee and UPDF bills
On Thursday, opposition MPs resolved to collect signatures to condemn the alleged gifting of money to their NRM counterparts. The MPs were reportedly rewarded for passing a section of the Coffee Bill, as well as for supporting the upcoming UPDF Bill, which is yet to be tabled before Parliament. However, NRM MPs have issued a rebuttal to the opposition’s claims.
