President Museveni to use patriotic clubs to aid youth
President Museveni announced that the government will consider supporting young people through patriotic clubs to actively engage in entrepreneurship and address the unemployment gap. He pointed out that the unemployment gap is largely fueled by young people's hopes for white-collar jobs, which often leads to disappointment due to a lack of available employment opportunities. His call came as he addressed 750 university students, who have completed a 15-day patriotic training program at Nkumba University in Entebbe. The president emphasized that agriculture remains a lucrative opportunity for Uganda, as it is a multi-billion-dollar industry yet to be fully tapped.
