Researchers cite challenges in schooling for refugees
A report by Education Ministry and Plan International has cited financial constraints and a drop in interest by parents to educate their children which is affecting efforts of ensuring that learners in refugee settlements and host communities access equitable education. The study also found that even for those who are in school, the absence of teachers and poor feeding programs have created a poor learning environment for learners raising questions on how these challenges to education should be addressed.
