Three rescued from River Nyamwamba floods
As flooding from River Nyamwamba continues, police and locals have rescued three people who were trapped after they attempted to cross the river in search of firewood. Residents accuse the government of not fulfilling its promise to find a lasting solution to the flow of water from river Nyamwanba which continues to claim lives and loss of property. Police have warned locals not to cross the river until the water levels decrease.
