Uganda Human Rights Commission dismisses Kyagulanyi's complaint
The Uganda Human Rights Commission has dismissed a complaint of human rights abuse that the National Unity Platform President, Robert Kyagulanyi, filed against the state in 2018. The Chairperson, Mariam Wangadya, refused to entertain the preliminary submission by Kyagulanyi, who accused the commission of lacking the capacity to deliver justice. Kyagulanyi protested by announcing his decision to withdraw the complaint after Wangadya refused to allow him to deliver his statement in full.
