Uganda Red Cross assists flood victims in Katakwi
The Uganda Red Cross has responded to a call from flood victims in Katakwi district by distributing essential items to those impacted by the recent heavy rains. These included the elderly, child-headed families, and persons living with disabilities. Between August and October this year, over 8,000 people lost property worth millions of shillings due to flooding and waterlogging.
