Uganda urged to embrace technology for wildlife protection
Despite having abundant wildlife reserve conservation centers, Uganda is still faced with the challenge of acquiring technological advancement to protect wildlife. ICT Minister Dr. Chris Baryomunsi has told a conservation conference at the Uganda Museum in Kampala that technology can be effective in fighting encroachment on protected areas, poaching, and deforestation. Uganda has over 20 protected areas for wildlife reserve conservation.
