National ball games II kick off in Soroti
This year's National Ball Games II kicked off today at Teso College Aloet in Soroti as teams compete to qualify for the East African Secondary School Games later this year. In the opening games, handball powerhouse Gombe Secondary School defeated Kawanda SS by 15 to 9 goals in the boys' category, while Mbarara's Ntare School beat Kakukungulu Memorial 14 to 11 goals. In the girls' category, Gombe SS defeated Wampewo Ntake by 19 to 12 goals, and Kawanda SS triumphed over Mbogo Mixed with a score of 22 to 7 goals.
