Uganda is grappling with a rising cancer burden, with over 36,000 new cases registered last year alone. Yet, the fight against the disease continues to face major challenges—ranging from limited access to treatment, shortages of medical equipment, and a lack of skilled personnel.
Health experts and other stakeholders gathered in Kampala for a conference to deliberate on health and policy strategies aimed at combating cancer.
