Uganda has received a financial boost of 2.3 million US dollars from the Government of Denmark to support its refugee response efforts. The support comes at a time when the country continues to grapple with a rising refugee population, now estimated at over 1.95 million people.

Meanwhile, during the National Global Refugee Forum (GRF) Stocktaking Meeting that concluded today in Kampala, stakeholders emphasized the need to address the root causes of conflict if the refugee crisis is to be effectively managed.
