Chief Justice Alfonse Owiny-Dollo has urged members of the judiciary not to accord Dr. Kizza Besigye any special treatment, warning that doing so could set a dangerous precedent both nationally and internationally.
He made the remarks while speaking at the 8th Annual Benedicto Kiwanuka Memorial Lecture held at the High Court in Kampala.

Besigye, along with his aide Obeid Lutale, is currently facing charges of illegal possession of firearms, ammunition, and treachery.
