Church concerned over excessive use of power by leaders

The Chancellor of Rubaga Cathedral, Reverend Pius Male Ssentumbwe, has expressed concern over the excessive use of power by politicians and national leaders. He warned against prioritizing personal gain over moral and spiritual values. In his homily at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Lubaga, the Chancellor emphasized the importance of placing God above material wealth. He urged leaders and citizens alike to embrace humility and integrity in all their actions. Additionally, he called for peace and unity as the country approaches the upcoming elections and the presidential nominations scheduled to begin next week. The Chancellor appealed to all political actors to conduct themselves responsibly and avoid inciting violence or division.
