In 1995, Justine Nankya’s life irrevocably changed when she was wrongfully sentenced to death for a crime she did not commit. Nankya was convicted of armed robbery and sent to Luzira Women’s Prison. In this second part of her story, she talks to BENJAMIN JUMBE about how the death penalty affected her and her family, and the difficult life she is living now.
