Former Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga has claimed that those fighting her politically originate from within the Busoga Kingdom, alleging that they are bitter because she blocked their attempts to steal and sell royal land.
Kadaga went as far as naming some Busoga leaders whom she accused of making it their career to oppose her. Despite the pressure, she vowed to remain in the NRM and continue serving the party, stating that no amount of intimidation would force her out.
She made the remarks during her homecoming and Thanksgiving event.
