Lawyers accuse judge Emmanuel Baguma of bias in Kizza Besigye’s case

The lawyers representing Kizza Besigye and Obeid Lutale have ceased appearing before Judge Emmanuel Baguma, citing concerns of bias against their clients.
Acting on direct instructions from Besigye and Lutale, who are currently facing terrorism-related charges, the lawyers are now requesting Judge Baguma to return the duo’s file to the International Crimes Division, where it was initially referred by the Director of Public Prosecutions.
