: Legal experts rally Ugandans to use the courts

Victims of human rights abuses have been advised to file formal complaints and pursue legal action, as Uganda edges closer to general elections—often marked by a surge in arbitrary arrests. The call was made by law scholars during the 37th session of the Radical New Bar, an initiative by the Uganda Law Society. They also called for a systematic review of the Constitution and the reform of sections that are no longer viable.
