The Ministry of Health has issued a warning to herbalists regarding contamination in herbal medicine, which has been affecting its effectiveness. Speaking at a training organized by the Ministry of Health and NDA, Dr. Grace Nambatya, the Director of Natural Medicine at the Ministry of Health, emphasized the importance of establishing guidelines and regulations for herbalists on how to harvest, produce, and store herbal medicine to prevent contamination that can have harmful effects on patients.
