The Alliance for National Transformation (ANT) presidential flag bearer, Mugisha Muntu, says they will not accept financial support from individuals or groups with hidden motives, such as criminal networks. He explains that such money often comes with strings attached, which can compromise integrity and put the country at risk. This follows a public fundraising activity in Kampala, where he appealed to Ugandans to financially support the party during this campaign and political season, as ANT seeks to build institutions and systems that work if elected into office.
