EMYOOGA: Kasese residents with disabilities turn challenges into thriving livelihoods

In Kasese, people living with disabilities are turning struggles into success. Some have overcome lifelong stigma and social rejection to build new livelihoods and support their families. A boda boda rider, who lost a limb in a devastating accident in 2014, taught himself shoe repair and making. With small loans, he now runs a shoe business, earning enough to provide for his household and plan for expansion. We have more in this report.
