Kaliro farmers demand higher sugarcane prices

A section of sugarcane farmers in Kaliro District has called for a permanent halt to the 50% deduction per tonnage and an increase in the price of sugarcane, saying it is still very low compared to other factories. They made the appeal during the launch of Kaliro Sugar Factory in Bwayuya Village, Kasokwe Sub-county, Kaliro District.
