MPs question KCCA officials on Nakivubo channel saga

Kampala Capital City Authority officials are appearing before the Public Accounts Committee on Commissions, Statutory Authorities, and State Enterprises to respond to queries raised in the Auditor General’s report covering 2023/2024. One of the issues under scrutiny is the presidential directive to give away the Nakivubo Channel to Ham Enterprises for redevelopment. Deputy Executive Director Benon Kigenyi told MPs that they too were shocked to see the channel being fenced off and demolished.
