More than 200 Ugandan pilgrims have been flagged off to Tanzania to mark 26 years since the passing of Julius Nyerere, Tanzania’s founding president. They will join fellow pilgrims from other East African Community states at Butiama, Nyerere’s ancestral home, from 26th to 30th September 2025.
