NRM leaders urge unity in Sironko to avoid Opposition victory

NRM party leaders from the secretariat, led by Deputy Secretary General Rose Namayanja and Director of Mobilization Rosemary Seninde, have urged NRM supporters and leaders in Sironko District to launch an operation to rescue themselves from the hands of the opposition. They also called on independent candidates to support the party’s flag bearers, warning that failure to do so could lead to losing to the opposition by splitting the NRM vote. The district has been represented by majority opposition leaders for over 20 years.
