Police urge candidates to coordinate campaign routes

The Uganda Police Force has called on the organizing committees of presidential candidates to coordinate with security agencies to agree on routes to be used during campaigns. Police spokesperson Kituuma Rusoke says that during the first week of campaigns, there have been challenges where some candidates attempted to use routes that had not been agreed upon. This follows complaints from various political camps.
