Uganda’s Ronald Rugumayo shot into the lead in the Jonnie Walker Uganda Open golf championship professional tournament after finishing four strokes under par at the par 71 Lugazi Golf Course.
The South Africa-based Ugandan golfer recorded a remarkable seven birdies to complete a strong Day One performance, edging ahead of Kenya’s Dismas Ndiza and Mohit Medirattta, who both finished the day tied at two under par.
