Akii Bua stadium construction 25% complete, on track for October 2026

It has been confirmed that 25 percent of the construction work at Akii Bua Stadium has been completed, following a visit to the facility by the Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers, Lira branch. Sam Opito, the Chairman of the Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers, Lira branch, who led about 60 engineers, said they are satisfied with the progress of the work so far. According to the contractor, the construction work is expected to be completed by October next year.
