Thousands of mourners gather at national stadium for Raila’s state funeral

Tens of thousands gathered amid heavy security at Nairobi, Kenya’s Nyayo National Stadium, to pay tribute to former Prime Minister Raila Odinga in a state funeral. Odinga died on Wednesday in India, and a 7-day national mourning period has since been declared in Kenya. He was a towering figure in Kenyan politics, having served as Prime Minister and run for president five times.
