2% Insurance cover concerns regulator
According to the Insurance Regulatory Authority, only 2% of Uganda’s population have life insurance and the majority suffer financial constraints after the demise of their loved ones. Life insurance would have been the solution at this point. Few companies such as Sanlam have a funeral plan.
