Govt looks to double export revenue to US$12 billion
Ugandan exporters lose about 100 million US dollars due to cargo interceptions which in turn reduces revenue earnings. If infrastructure and quality bottlenecks are addressed, the government believes Uganda can double its export revenue to 12 billion US dollars from just 6 billion US dollars currently.
