SPENDING OIL MONEY: UNOC seeks exemption from parliament oversight
Should the executive have its way, the Uganda National Oil Company will spend the proceeds from the sale of oil through the East African Oil Pipeline with out parliamentary approval. The civil society budget advocacy group oppose the move that is part of the amendments of the Public Finance Management Act currently in parliament.
