Deputy speaker launches 50 Billion shilling mini hydro power project in Mitooma
Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa has commissioned the construction of a 50-billion-shilling Mini Hydro Power Project in Mitooma District. Flanked by Energy Ministers Ruth Nankabirwa and Phiona Nyamutoro, the Deputy Speaker revealed that the plant will connect up to 71,081 households, benefiting a population of 376,729 people, as well as 2,300 small and medium enterprises.
