URA e-receipting system usage slows down at pilot stage
The pilot stage of the Electronic Fiscal Receipting system for tax purposes by the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) continues to face hiccups with the usage dropping from 3000 businesses to now 673 only. This follows a moving of the deadline for VAT registered businesses with the users claiming it’s burdening them with extra cost.
