350 players join post primary schools ’badminton tourney
Gayaza Junior School, Janan Secondary School, Kakungulu Memorial School, Kibuli Secondary School, and Kinaawa High School, Mugongo are among the schools participating in the National Schools Badminton Championship, at the Indoor Arena in Lugogo. The tournament, returning for the first time since 2019, has attracted over 350 players competing in the Under-10, Under-13, Under-15, and Under-19 categories for both boys and girls. Participants are competing in both individual and team events. The championship, which had been on a five-year hiatus, is set to conclude today with a crowning ceremony to honour the top performers.
