Civil Society join chorus of calls for Besigye’s release
Earlier today, Members of the Civil Society joined the growing chorus of calls for the immediate release, of incarcerated former FDC president Dr Col Kiiza Besigye and all political prisoners. It comes at a time when the pressure is mounting on the government to respect the recent Supreme Court ruling and either try Dr Besigye in a civilian court or free him so he can access access better health care.
