FDC troubles: Wasswa Birigwa calls for delegates’ conference
The FDC Vice President for Eastern Uganda, Proscovia Salaam Musumba, has revealed plans by a section of FDC Party officials to host an extra-ordinary National Delegates' Conference on the 19th of September, in a bid to resolve the ongoing political wrangles within the Party. Her stand follows reports that a section of the party leadership at Najjanankumbi, including the Party President Patrick Amuriat, were opposed to the meeting as they also set aside the 6th of October as the date for the FDC National Delegates Conference.
