Hass avocado farmers in Kyenjojo seek more markets
Farmers in Rwenzori and Bunyoro Regions want the government to guarantee the market after embracing the growing of Hass avocado. Kyenjojo District is one of the piloting Hass avocado growing districts in regions of Rwenzori and Bunyoro though small-scale farmers have, however, not yet embraced it due to costly seedlings. This was during the Hass avocado growing training of agriculture extension workers and farmers in Rwenzori and Bunyoro regions held at Njojo farm in Kyenjojo district.
