IGAD delegates in Nairobi discuss food systems preservation
Member States in the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) believe that strengthening policy frameworks on food systems will improve nutrition in the region, despite challenges such as weather calamities and political instability. During the launch of the validation of the Food Systems Resilience Index Analysis Report, it was emphasized that member countries should encourage farmers to adopt good post-harvest handling practices to ensure food safety.
