KCCA speaker asks Lord Mayor to produce Kiteezi disaster report
The Speaker of Kampala Capital City Authority, Zahara Luyirika, has tasked Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago with presenting the Kiteezi Tragedy report to council instead of lamenting. Lukwago and the City Executive Committee were expected to submit the Kiteezi tragedy report to the council, but this did not happen, with Lukwago reportedly locked in meetings with the City executive. However, as BAKER SENYONGA MULINDE reports, the council has resolved to set up a 10-member team to look into the matter and report back by Tuesday next week.
